C Jump Baby
Kylee had her dance pictures taken last Saturday. I can't even tell you how amazing of a dancer this little girl is becoming. I really wanted her to do an action shot and Kylee's coach told her to do a C-Jump and that she does them perfect "if she remembers to point her toes" and this is the perfect shot the photographer got! While she was doing them (we had to take a few shots) she kept landing on her knees. OUCH! but look how high she is from the ground. I am so impressed at how much she has grown and as learned. I think this kid is going to be a professional dancer soon.

March for Lucy Bug
Saturday was the March for Babies. Kylee and I march in honor of Lucy Cate. Lucy is the daughter of a really good friend of mine Codi. Lucy was almost 3 month early and spent 79 days in the NICU. She is a year old now, and she is doing amazing. She is seriously a miracle baby. This is such a good organization. Kylee and I felt it was our duty to do this walk. And we loved every minute of it.

Here is Lucy Cate and Kylee, a co worker put it perfectly. "They have a bond of the heart" Kylee loves little girl as if she was her own sister. So when she said that it was perfect and it fits so well. 
Lucy and her wonderful Mommy. Codi is such an amazing person. I know she has grown to be a stronger person because of Lucy.

Kylee had a lot of fun. They had a lot of kid oriented things. Face painting bubble machines, balloon animals Kylee got a butterfly. and her favorite slides!
We were so happy to do this. We will be back next year! Congratulations Codi on such a success.

The Wendover Ladies!!
For about the past 6 months we have been waiting for Caitlin to turn 21 so that the girls can go play in Wendover! Well we finally made it.
Here is our first look at our room. Nothing to look out the window, but lots of dust and dessert.

1st Competition
Yesterday was Kylee's first competition and she did fantastic. We are very proud of her and all of her hard work. We (ok me) didn't realize how hard competitions are. First I had to get everything ready the night before, then had to wake up at 5:30 to get myself ready then wake Kylee up at 6:00 then leave the house at 7:00 to be in Plain City by 8:00. The competition started at 9:00. Kylee's first performance was at 9:30 and it was the Bop to the Top. (sorry the pictures are not the best, I need to spend the money and get a great camera) We didn't win any awards for this dance. :(
In between the dances we got to watch all of the other dancers do their thing. WOW those kids are amazing and the dances are so creative. Both Tim and I really wanted to take little naps, but it was really hard with all the cheering. Then 11:45 came around and Kylee was back on in her pretty blue dress. I don't know the name to this song. They won 1st place for this lyrical dance!!!! Way to go Kylee and Minni's.

Next was Hip Hop Sake your Money Maker (I think) at 12:30 this has a mix of the Minni's and the other girls I always forget their name. The team just above Kylee. This one they won 2nd place!!! They did very well for half of the team never competing before. I didn't get one good picture of this dance. Dang it. Hopefully next time.
This is the Minni's some of them you can't see and I can't even tell you all of their names, but look how pretty Kylee looks and that trophy!! Good Job Girls!
And this is Kylee and her trophy she get to take home to remember her two wins for her first competition. Good Job Kylee we are so proud of you! Our little Dancing Queen!
Well I do have to say that they defiantly deserve every award they got. After a six hour wait to dance three dances and then a very very long award ceremony. We finally left Plain City at 4:00. On the way home Kylee took a well deserved nap and slept very well last night. I have to say I slept well also. Now we get to do it all over May 2. You are all welcome to come. It is at Kearns High School I don't know the time yet, but I would have to guess it will be about the same time. Hopefully this competition things get easier. Well Kylee didn't think it was hard at all. She was just having a really good time running around a big school with her friends, while Tim and I sat and did nothing.

Dancing Queen
Kylee has her first competition on April 12th, she is very excited and scared. She has been working so hard. She wants to win all the trophies and ribbons that she can. I know she can do it. This kid can do anything she puts her mind too.
She will be dancing at Raging Waters May 31st. I hope you can all make it. Her studio is selling tickets for $12 and I guess everytime you go through out the summer you only have to show them the $12 pass and that what you pay to get in!!! What a great deal.
How she gets up there in front of a ton of people is beyond me. She is just a special little girl. She has truley found what she loves to do and she is very very good at it. I hope all of you will have the chance to see her dance this summer. She will also be doing a Spring Recital and she will be dancing at Taylorsville Days. I will keep you all posted with dates and times. Love you all! :)

Happy Birthday!!
Kylee was so happy to finally see Lucy and get to hold her. Plus it was Lucy's 1st Birthday party! I can't tell you how much Kylee loves this girl. She has seen her two times, and she loves her. Kylee names everything after Lucy. It is the cutest thing ever! Codi and I are so lucky to have such sweet girls. How did we get so lucky? Lucy is such an amazing baby. Kylee is such an amazing kid. What else can I say about these girls? They are just AMAZING!
