Showcase 2013

I am sure I sound like a broken record, but I am so proud of Kylee and all the passion she has for dance. Today Synergy held their pre comp showcase. I had seen their hip hop and their lyrical but hadn't yet seen their jazz. I was completely blown away. It is amazing and I know that they all danced their little hearts out. When I went back to congratulate Kylee and seen her sweating I almost started to cry knowing how much work she has put into this dance and how hard she danced out there made me so proud made all the money and the time driving to and from dance worth every penny and every second. Kylee has a solo in this dance but I was to busy watching and not taking pictures. I will get one next time!

15 years and oh so Crafty

15 years ago today Tim and I started dating, exclusive. We have grown up together and have had many ups and downs. I would not change it for anything. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful man to call my husband and the father of our amazing daughter.

 

I have been crafting a lot lately. I have fallen in love with making things, if its for me or not! I just love it.

 

I made this W for my front door! I just love it and want to make a lot more in different colors!

 

 

I did this Home pendant for a shelf in my living room

 

 I need to take down the saw, I am not loving it there.

 

Once I did my W, I had a friend ask me to make her an S and I of course said YES. Then another friend liked my W and her birthday was coming up so I made her and N! I just love to craft.

 

 

I made this snowflake for my door during the winter months!

 

Well, on to my next crafts! Not sure what they will be but I can't wait to go to Wood Connection!

First Competition of 2013!

Kylee's first dance competition at her new studio was a good one. Our studio hosted the competition so we competed just for expedition (judges notes) We did not get placed anywhere. I think its so awesome that we did this.

 

Kylee has (like always) worked really hard this year. It has been a rough year for this girl. But she never stopped practicing. Without dance Kylee would not be Kylee. I am so glad that she LOVES this new studio and has made a lot more friends.

Christmas and New Years!

Just like I hoped we spent Christmas 2012 in our new home! It was an awesome Christmas. Kylee is getting so grown up and getting hard (expensive) to shop for. All Kylee wanted was a laptop and One Direction stuff. Well I am having a hard time letting her have her own computer/laptop in her room. We decided to go with a new home computer for her.

 

Another BIG thing she wanted was a stand up cut out of One Direction (I am not ready for this) I found this full size poster and thought this would be better since it can go on the wall. Who knows where we would have put a sand up.

New Years

It was pretty low key we hung out with our new neighbors, and I might have to say it might be one of my favorites! We played a game called Headbands, and had a blast!
