St. George part II

So I left out something that happened Friday night/morning. So we get to our hotel and check in and go to our room and our keys don't work. I don't think anything of it and go back to the front desk and get new keys. (yes we were at the right room, according to the map the lady gave us) I head back to the room and we get settled in the and do our indoor swimming. Kylee decides to sleep at Kenzie's room and Tim come home from fishing about 12 AM (CRAZY boy) Then about 1:30 I hear voices and I think that its the T.V. "of course he didn't turn it off" so I zone back out until Tim jumps up and runs to the door and says "is there something I can hep you with" all pissed. and I hear. "I think there was a mess up with rooms, we will get it taken care of" well come to find out Tim woke up to 4 people in our room. So the next morning I go to the front desk and I am pissed at this point and I am not going to pay for that night. Why should I when for the rest of the night I am scared to death. So yes the stupid Hotel double booked the room and I only had to pay $120 without tax for the whole weekend. But yes I locked to dead bolt the rest of the weekend. I'm telling you this was the roughest start to a vaca ever.

St. George 2008!

So I have a very fun start to the weekend. It truly started Thursday when I got home from work to my house being a pig pen and no laundry done, after Tim stayed home all day by himself. So yes of course I was PISSED OFF. So then Friday I was over it, because I did EVERYTHING by myself. (yes maybe I am still a little bit bitter) then Friday we had to wait for Kylee to get out of school. So we are finally on the road and get to about American Fork and the freeway is a parking lot for 2 miles and it took us an hour to go 2 miles. At that point I thought that this trip was not meant to be. But we kept going. Then about 2 hours into the drive we hit a very big snow/slush storm and again I am thinking we are not meant to leave the house this weekend. We kept going and so did the storm. So we finally make it to St. George and of course Tim and Jason want to leave right away to go fishing (in the rain) and the girls want to go swimming.

Saturday

We went to Zions National Park. This place is amazing. We drove up the canyon then parked the car and rode a bus to the visitor center then up to the trail to see Emerald Ponds. There are 3 ponds, and we were just going to go to the first one, but it was so amazingly beautiful we had to keep going.

This was the beginning of the trail and we found this HUGE tree with a big hole in it. Do you think an owl lived there?

And this was our final destination this was so cool. The water was probably 500 feet above us and there was a small pond below.


We had to leave pretty fast out of this place, because of course just our luck once we got there it started to rain hard.

On the way back to our car we stopped in a little city in Zions and there was this farm that had all kinds of animals to feed and pet and look at. Which Tim and Jason loved.

This elk had the most craziest horns I have ever seen. At first I didn't know what the crap this animal was. I mean the body looked like an elk or a deer, but the horns were crazy.

Sunday

We went to Fiesta Fun. We went in the batting cages. and OUCH, those balls are really really hard.

Monday

The sun decide to come out so we called to get a late check out and hung out at the pool for a few hours before heading home. Of course the day we leave is the one perfect day. oh well that just means we have to go back soon.

Well after the ruff start it turned out to be a great weekend.

Kiddie Kandids

Last night some girls and I that I worked with at KK went to dinner. We haven't seen each other since the last time we went to dinner about a year ago. And I never knew how much I missed these girlie's! It brought back a lot of memories, good ones and bad. But we have always had so much fun together, we all have our place in the KK group. Kacy ~ loud & hilarious, Tammy ~ tell it like it, Dani ~ Sweet and Quite, Jen ~little bit of all of us in one, and me ~ I like to sit back and watch everyone, laugh at everyones comments, and give my two sense when needed. I hope we can do it more than once a year and next time maybe we can get everyone to come.

Trophy Queen

Here is my little Trophy Queen! The three on the table with her are from the competitions. Then if you look on the floor you will see 6 more. She was showing Tim and I all of them (because you know we have never seen them!!!) I am so proud of you baby!

Happy Mothers Day!

I would like to tell my mom thank you for being such a wonderful mom and best friend. I don't know what I would with out you. You are such an amazing person, mom and friend. I look up to you in so many ways.

This is my mom and grandma opening the presents that we got them. We got all the grandkids together and went to Kiddie Kandids (don't miss that job) then the 4 of us took one. My mom was very happy!!

And my wonderful daughter made me a beautiful card and these flowers that are coupons!!! can't wait to cash those in! I don't know who I would be if I didn't have Kylee to call me mom. I am a better person because of her. I love you Kylee with all my heart and soul!!

We had a BBQ out at my moms and this is Hayden, Keltsie, Hannah and Kylee in grandpa's hammock they had way to much fun flipping in it!

3rd and Finale Competition!

Once again Kylee did AMAZING!!

Kylee has really taken to the competitions. She loves competing and knowing how well she dances.

First off was the Circus that all of the competition teams do together! She is so cute!

The Circus Freaks is amazing, buy far the best production (that is what they call the little shows that the studio puts on) And that was proven when we won 1st place and 1st place over all! Way to go Power Plus!!!

Then was Bop to the Top, these pictures never turn out right. But yet again this was buy far the best and again they proved that when they won 1st place and 2nd place over all. How they judge the over all is what team has the most points for one dance. And they got 2nd place over all of the other studio's minis and there dances!!!

Kylee loves it when she can show off how good of a dancer she is. Video's don't do justice to this little dancer!

Next was the girls lyrical. They placed 4th with this dance and I personally think they got robbed.
After the lyrical, but before their Hip Hop they did an awards ceremony. While the judges tally up the points they do a dance off. This is when all of the dancers get on stage and judges go up and give out prizes to the girls with the best free style. And Yes of course my daughter won a way cute shirt!!! Way to go Ky!!! I am so proud of you.
