Christmas Cookies

Tim went to Lake Powell over the weekend, so we had a NICE girls weekend. We went to dinner with family, pampered ourselves, and some shopping and best of all we baked cookies!

We had so much fun making cookies! We haven't make sugar cookies from SCRATCH in YEARS! With Kylee in cookie class at school I knew she would love to make them. She did! "its so much funner"

She did such a great job rolling them and cutting them out, I did all the oven stuff!

All done and ready to decorate. I am not good at this at all and really don't enjoy it.

I did a few and then left it up to the cookie boss!

She is really good at it too!

We then took some to my mom. And just had to take a picture of this guy!

We had a great weekend! And now off to shop and all the wrapping!!

G. Ray Tolley

About a month ago my Grandpa Tolley was diagnosed with liver cancer. They gave him about 6-8 months to live. Then about a week after he was diagnosed they said that we "would be lucky to get two weeks" 3 days later he died. It was such a shock. We had just found out that he had cancer then to have lost him to it 2 weeks later. They say that they think he had it for a total of 2 months. It moved very rapidly. I am glad he did not have to suffer to long however I will miss him so much. He was that grandpa that always was there. Gave the big hugs and pulled on your nose and ears. Such a teaser. His faith in the church was amazing. He never let it go. He was so proud of his family. He had an amazing life, he and my grandma traveled in the RV and has seen so much. They got married on his 17th birthday, she had been 17 for a week! They would have been married for 65 years this Nov. I know how much in love they are. He was an incredible man and I know he was called to do more. Until we meet again Grandpa.

This military ceremony was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life. He would have been so happy!

Wow, how did we get here?

I swear it was yesterday that I was leaving her for 4 hours to go to Kindergarten and now, I am leaving her for 7 hours and running around a big school to 8 different classes, a locker that is hard to open, now able to chew gum in class. Learning a foreign language

Wow.

I am SO Proud of you Kylee. I love you so much!

Why must she grow up?

Sunday I had a photo shoot with some of the girls from the dance studio so of course since I was there I thought I would take some of Miss Moo! She is getting WAY to grown up and I don't know what to do about it. I am excited for her and way sad for me. I have major anxiety about it and want to cry so much. I know the next few years are going to be hard but I am so excited to see what she achieves and becomes. I am so extremely proud of her and I must say that I am proud of Tim and myself for the young women she has become! I just want her to stay small a little while longer :(

I lost it! I started CRYING my eyes out!

We are SO PROUD of Kylee. She is such an amazing girl and has so many dreams and I can't wait watch her go through all her fun adventures!

Been busy

Wow the past few weeks have been pretty busy. The dance season is coming to an end so we have our end of the season recital. This is a fun one, no competition so the girls just go up there and have fun!

This will be the last time Kylee got to perform her solo :( what a fun experience it has been for both of us!

She just shines on that stage by herself and with her team! I am so proud of her!

Oh Justin I will miss you!!

School is also coming to an end, which means final projects and field trips!

Kylee did a Country report on Canada! and they did a fair that the whole school got to come in and see their final project! She of course did awesome!

I was lucky and was able to go with Kylee on her last field trip. We went to the Clark Planetarium then walked the streets of down town and then went to Gateway and the kids ran through the fountain! (Sorry the pictures are backwards)

This week will be another busy and emotional week. Kylee has her first school dance and then graduation. She is getting all grown up and in 3 months will be going to Jr high.
