State Fair

All the fifth grades had to do a report on a state. Kylee got Indiana! Then they have to put together a presentation for the rest of the school. Kinda like a science fair but its a state fair. She went all out made up a game and got sodas for prizes! Kylee's report. She got an A-!!!

We are so proud of our smart little (ok not so little anymore) girl. She is an amazing student!

Field Trip Pictures

Last week Ky went to Timpanogoas Cave on a field trip. I was really excited for her its an amazing cave! She is so CUTE!!!!

Mount Timpanogos

Kylee is going on a school field trip today to Mount Timpanogos.

Kearns High School

Saturday was Kylee's 4th and final competition for the 2009-2010 year.

This was a tough and BIG competition. But the girls did great.

Show took FIRST place! and an award for best props!

Hip Hop took FIRST out of 5 other teams. Then about 9:00 pm I got a text saying that hip hop took HIGH POINT the highest award you can get in our division!!!

While the judges took a break the studio played games. I LOVE how tight our studio is. It makes the experience so much better for us moms and the girls!

We were robbed on lyrical.

We took 4th place out of 4 teams.

Thats ok, we rocked every other competition!!

Jazz took 2nd out of 4 other teams. Way to go Girls!



After the girls were done the studio went swimming. Nichole rented a room and got pizza, cake and ice cream. It was nice to just relax after a long hard day.

How they danced then went swimming is beyond me.

Kylee had fun jumping into the pool!

Kid of many talents

Roy High School Competition

So, The girls started of dancing their Jazz dance. I have NEVER seen such emotion, such facials, such movement. I have never seen them dance this dance this amazingly PERFECT before. After this dance I knew that is was their day.

and again with their Lyrical. Almost PERFECT. Yep it is really their day!

Hip Hop. WOW I have NEVER heard such noise after a dance. They were lucky to have all the studio teams in the gym to watch their hip hop and they were so loud. Stopping their feet screaming it got the girls PUMPED. Yep it must be their day!

Then the Show brought a tear to my eye! Gosh I am telling you its their day!

I had to through this one in, look at her face! Its so cool!

Kylee entered her first drill down ever! She did really good.

For those of you who don't know what drill down is, I will try to explain it.

You pay a dollar to enter.

All the girls line up by age and the announcer says a command and you have to follow it. Like military. If you mess up you have to sit down. The last girl standing in your age group wins the money!!

Well like I said I thought for sure this was the day!!!

JAZZ = FIRST PLACE

LYRICAL = FIRST PLACE

HIP HOP = FIRST PLACE

SHOW = FIRST PLACE

I knew it was their day!!! They have done this before, but there was alot more teams that we were up against. We were up against 3 other teams for almost all the dances!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS POWER PLUS EXTREME GIRLS YOU DESERVED IT!!!!

Last night Kylee had her finale viola recital. I have only seen her perform twice. She is just amazing. She doesn't even look at her fingers. I tried playing the cello in school and I SUCKED so I gave up. Kylee just truly amazes me.

She did so good! I am so proud of her. She just loves doing a bunch of stuff.
