Birthday on the Lake

This year we were at the lake on Kylee's birthday! So we had a party on the lake for her big 13th Birthday!

Kylee has been wanting to get her nails done for YEARS, and I just wouldn't let her, well what do you get a kid that has everything? Nails! and we also got her a new curling iron!

I made sure and bought candles, but I couldn't find them anywhere, luckily Krista had one!

 I have heard horror stories of building a home, picking out colors. I have had fun doing it! but now on to the actual building! We should have a hole in about a week and a half! I am so freaking excited I can barley contain myself!

Kylee wrote and stood up and gave a beautiful speech. I am so thankful she was able to get to know her great grandparents and they just loved her!

Good Bye

Saying good bye is never easy.

We said good bye to the only home we know. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole life. This is the first home I made. The only home Kylee has known. We are moving on to bigger and better things! We are building in West Jordan! A rambler! Its a bitter sweet moment, but knowing that its a fresh start makes it all worth it! And now that we have said good bye to the past I am so excited to say hello to our future!

How is it possible that we now have a teenager? How time has just flown by.

We might just be the most lucky parents of all time. Kylee is such an amazing kid. She has the biggest heart and cares so much about her friends and family. We wanted to do something special for her BIG birthday, unfortunately we were moving the weekend before her birthday. So we celebrated with her friends two weeks before. We had pizza on the tramp.
