Mill Hollow 2009

Before School got out Kylee came home with a note that she could go to Mill Hollow. I was so excited. I went as a kid and LOVED every minute of it. It was such and adventure. Kylee wasn't sure if she wanted to go. I had to talk her into it, because I knew how much fun she would have. So we signed her up and paid our dues. It was months away or so we thought. It came way fast and then it was time to put her on the bus to go. I swear that was the hardest thing I have EVER done in my life. I thought that the first day of Kindergarten was bad NOPE. I hated the thought of not knowing what was going on with my baby. The only thing I could think of to ease my mind was how much fun I had when I was there.

She went for a total of 3 days and 2 nights. And YES she had the time of her life. They did the hikes, the singing the boondoggle, the camp fires, skits, oh the fun!

It is so pretty up there. All I know is that its in the Unitas, but Tim and I went back to Mill Hollow when Kylee was about 6 months old and its just so pretty.

Kylee is such a great kid. How did we get so lucky?

She was in cabin 2, when I went I was in 7. "I was in 7" "oh mom that was so far away, I'm glad I didn't have to carry my stuff that far" It was far.

I love Mill Hollow. I think that every kid should do some type of camp. (even though it about killed me as a mom) but all the adventures they have and yes there is no mom telling them to be careful, or no you can't do that. Kylee really liked that part!

Well she got home safe and sound and with lots of stories. She did have a great time and I am so glad she went and we both had the experience. I know I am going to have that feeling alot more (probably the rest of my life) but I know that she has to grow up, and I can't wait for all of us to have more adventures!

July 4th!

We had such a blast! Friday night we went to Granite High School. They have the best firework show I have ever seen! Even Tim thought so! Then Saturday night we had a BBQ and our own little show with our friends! I love summer! The heat, the food, the drinks, the friends (we hibernate during the winter) the tan, the lake (get ready for us this weekend)

VERY last performance...

Was at Taylorsville Dayzz! This was a fun dance that the girls made up. It was to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. It was so cute!

Well here we are 10 years. I just can't believe it. It truly doesn't feel like we have already had 10 wonderful years with such an amazing kid. How did we get so lucky. Kylee is such a great kid. She has the biggest heart, she is always thinking of others before herself. I am so proud of my daughter and the young lady she is becoming.

Next came presents!

Every year (but 2) since the day I was in the hospital Kylee has gotten a Precious Moments Doll. They are called Growing in Grace. This year my mom got her a shelf to put them all in and the number 10! (GREAT IDEA)

Kylee is not a shoe kid (who's kid is this? oh thats right her dads) but one day we were at Target and she found this pair that she LOVED and I wouldn't buy them (I know MEAN) (We just bought her a Wii for her birthday) but she couldn't stop talking about these shoes. So I went and bought them for a little gift for her to open from Mom and Dad. But I had to tease her so I also got a dress for her. I put the dress in the shoe box so that she would think she was getting shoes then see the dress and be disappointed (again I know mean) It worked out perfectly!!!

Kylee LOVES bouncy balls. She takes them to school and names them all like they are her babies. Its so cute and annoying at the same time. But her friend had this one ball that Kylee loved. So she got it for her for her birthday. What a great friend!

Kylee is really into play makeup. I HATE IT. oh well as long as she doesn't leave the house with it on.
