Everything I have ever wanted!

Rockport 2008

For the past 3 years we go camping with some friends. We wish we could go more (hopefully next year when we have a trailer) This year we went to Rockport! We have allot of fun. We set up chairs, coolers, toys and just hang out at the beach. We swim we got for rides on the boat, we go tubing (we didn't bring the rope this time, What were you thinking Tim?) We just have a blast! This time we stayed longer on Sunday, everyone else left early and we had Sammie and Halee stay with us.

Kylee, me and Halee. This trip was the first time Ky got in the water out in the middle of the lake. She will swim by shore and stay in the water all day, but she has always been afraid of getting off the boat. Tim and I are SO proud of her.

Sunday morning while everyone was still nice and comfortable in there beds, Kylee and I went down to the lake to hang out. Then they started to build ponds and rivers!

Well that was our little outing. I think it might be our only one this summer. With our kitchen still all apart. Its hard to get in any boating time.

BBQ time

My mom and I decided to have a BBQ out at my sisters house! It was alot of fun. We don't get together alot like we used to so it was really nice! We had hamburgers, potato salad, bean dip. YUMMY! She has the perfect yard for anything outside!

24th of July!

When I was a kid this day was just as big to my family as the 4th was! My aunt Susan and uncle Don and their kids would go find a spot along the parade route the night before and they would camp out in their motor home then the rest of the family would join them in the morning to all watch the parade together. That was when they would throw candy to the crowds. I remember it being so much fun. I also remember having to walk for which seemed like forever to get to their spot. But it that was just the way it was. There were always a million people there. I am trying to bring back some of the things I did as a child so that Kylee would have the same wonderful memories! So Thursday morning we woke up about 6 to get to my moms by 7 so that we could find a spot. We found a pretty good one in the shade. Then about 9 it wasn't in the shade anymore, but we still had fun. My mom bought Kylee and Keltsie water bottles so they could spray them self's and say cool. But they ended up spray the people in the parade. It was so funny to watch people wondering where it came from, then other people loved it and asked for more! The kids had a blast. I remember it being a lot more fun. But that is kind of how alot of things work out! I had fun watching Kylee enjoy it!
